Five Little Pumpkins

We are learning all about Fall for the next couple weeks, and one of our favorite poems from this theme is Five Little Pumpkins.  Today, we made headbands to go along with our poem and to practice numbers 1-5.  Here is a picture of our cute pumpkin headbands!

 

 

Ask your preschooler to say the poem for you.  Here are the words in case they need some help! :)

 

Five Little Pumpkins

 

Five little pumpkins sitting on a gate.

The first one said "Oh my, it's getting late."

The second one said, "There are bats in the air."

The third one said, "But we don't care."

The fourth one said, "Let's run, let's run."

The fifth one said, "It's FALL fun!"

"Woooooo" went the wind,

And OUT went the lights,

And the five little pumpkins rolled out of sight.
