Playdough with Parents and Teddy Bear Picnic

We've had some fun activities going on lately at Early Childhood!

In March, we had a chance to make our own playdough. Everyone got to help pour in the ingredients and stir it up. Then some parents and grandparents came in to play with us!

In April, we had a Teddy Bear Picnic. We ate Teddy Grahams, gummy bears, and made graham cracker teddy bear faces! It was a beautiful day to eat outside!

Community Helper Week

We had several visitors from our community during our Community Helper week, and it was so fun to get to hear all about how they help people in their jobs.

The ZooMobile came and read us a book about animals and their colors and then showed us several small zoo animals!

The firefighters came to talk to us about fire safety, and showed us their gear. The PM group even got to go out and see inside the fire truck!

 Too cold for AM group to go out to see the truck. :-(

 Practicing "Stop, Drop, and Roll"

Officer Chance (Grain Valley's School Resource Officer) came to show us a police car and talk about how police keep us safe.
